Many many hours and photoshop layers on this one. ;) I think about 30 layers in total. Tried to do something different, something more like the amazing styles/skills of `cosmosue and *Xondria. :)

I love this piece! It looks like it is from a fairy tale book. My favorite is the effect of the sparkling water going into the stream. I am glad that you elaborated in you description I have wanted to try photomanip for awhile I now realize that it usually takes many layers and many hours :O

Absolutely gorgeous. Very well done.
The lighting is consistent (not coming from different directions, for example)
I don't see any artifacts around the individual images. You cut, masked or extracted them very well.
Tone is consistent. Background & foreground have the same atmosphere. (for example, I've seen some where the background is hazy or misty but the added foreground images are clear...looks bad)
You did this SO well that it looks like it could have really existed. You did this so well that it looks like a photograph, not a photomanip.
